Echoes Monument
This monument is intended to reflect the nature of the Jefferson Monument design. It is made from designs by Thomas Jefferson himself. These designs, in turn, appropriated Greek architectural designs and motifs. The monument itself is composed of two incomplete spheres, one large than the other, with rings supporting the spheres and a series of pillars underneath the rings. These are placed directly atop the Jefferson Monument.
The effect is of the design statements of the Jefferson Monument repeating themselves, superimposed over the original monument.
